Washington I just found this thread and it looks good. I just want to say that Graziani was considered the face of Italian inefficency in WWII (I forget where I read it) and so was really not as good as he was depicted in GoG. I think I read that Messe was the best Italian general of WW2 in real life. messe is really shoot-like in GOG One. While Graziani looks heroic -_- Yes but messe has 3 stars (GOG) which is equivalent to 4* in WC3

George S Patton jr
0* infantry 5* panzer 2* artillery 3* Air 0* navy 4* movement
Skills: Lv4 panzer, lv4 ace forces,lv3 blitzkrieg, Lv4 explosives,lv2 street fighting PAS: Desert fighting (lv2/3) and Tide of iron
Reason: Slapped shell shocked soldiers and almost killed them, he is definitely not infantry! However, bulge shows he deserves 5* tanks and although he was not a street fighter but great at cracking SS strong points He should have got some desert skills like his counterparts

Press the gear button for the settings of your own posts (mobile view). There's an option to delete your own posts, so you can go ahead and delete those blank posts. Edit: Slapped shell shocked soldiers and almost killed them, he is definitely not infantry! However, bulge shows he deserves 5* tanks and although he was not a street fighter but great at cracking SS strong points Well there's still many other generals that are terrible in their treatment of the common foot soldiers, like Zhukov. They still get pretty strong ratings for using infantry. Secondly and more importantly, cities are more or less the equivalent of SS strong points in WC3 because of cities spilting the damage between the unit's hp and the city's hp. Nonewhere else would you see such a syrong effect on the unit being on the defense as that city. Not even a mountain reduces the damage to the unit that much as the city does.

Desophaeus , i will get to zhukov and others who mistreated units soon and besides i think cities should retaliate the units who attack them Now that gives more life into the game Well you have to consider the balance. If the cities fires back, it would seriously cut down the effectiveness of infantry/tanks and promote the vital importance of long-range bombardment which is something the AI doesn't quite understand. Likewise... I feel that it's the player's responsibility to put an unit into the city to make things harder for the enemy to capture it. The way you would make it so, it would be easy to leave a city empty and it would shred an infantry who came to be opportunistic in the strategic sense. All in all it would make the game a little more one-dimensional than what it already is. Less life in the game if it's less flexible.

Kids, kids. Can we just get back to the topic at hand, and not debate what would be great to see in WC or EW? (Mainly because we all know easy tech won't actually add any of them in or fix any of their historical inaccuracies...)

Hap Arnold
Stats and skills no change PAS: Some navy skills
Reason: This person can run but cant hide, he was an air support general and he was an okay logistical general but apart from that he was ver mobile with his strikes but wasn't the master in land warfare
