I do love Yamamoto Jr too but my personal favorite is the beginner's addiction to Govorov: Badoglio, or Bado for short. Sometime later I will move up and get addicted to a different drug, the Govorov himself.

Mattheus (my eye-covered tank general) is my favorite in term of OPness. For academy general, I like Govorov. Feel great when he does the KABOOM to my poor enemy. However, I seldom use him on my conquest because he is too slow.

However, I seldom use him on my conquest because he is too slow. Just let him loose in Europe rekt everything in there like an insanely mad dog. Once Europe is completely chewed up into pieces of twisted wire, wood spilters, and random pieces of crayons... then shut the door and leave him in that room. If Europe is all yours, there's no point in babysitting Govorov on every turn all the way to Japan or to America. The world is already slipping into your hands.

Me because it is pretty obvious and I can wreck Yamamoto at the start of US 1939.

Badoglio. He's somewhat cheap, powerful, and has some speed to him. Uber useful in completely Fall of Gelb and crushing Japan as England in 1943.

Me because it is pretty obvious and I can wreck Yamamoto at the start of US 1939. I'd rather save you for landing in China/Japan and spam subs to destroy Yamamoto's carrier. For my fav gen I'd say Guderian, because, double Guderian using 3rd Reich 1939 gives a kick start in both fronts, a big one.

Leonid Aleksandrovich Govorov for me, keep him in Europe and let him kill! Then transport him to another front line IF needed He's such a favorite of mine that once my profile name was Leonid Govorov!

Badoglio has been my home boi since the original GoG. There, he helped me take out the French, the Yugoslavs, the Greeks, the Spanish in N. Africa, the Italians (#BenedictArnold2016), the Germans and the Soviets! And he only got better in WC3!
And don't forget Graziani, the healthier Vatutin. He can storm through deserts quick and can take a beating while fighting back. Graziani and Badoglio are the only two Italians who are worth a damn, however.
Mannerheim is also a favorite of mine, not only because of my Finnish heritage, but also because he is a BEAST when it comes to infantry.
I would say people like Guderian and others, but i don't currently have them in my legion.

Badoglio is life!

Badoglio can be pretty good but one problem I have with him is that he can't destroy an infantry unit in a single turn
