I think NHL from the sound of it... I'm shocked, I had no idea how the Canadian teams were having troubles THAT bad. I should pay more attention. I had assumed that it was maybe 30% Canadian 70% American, and that some teams would have at least made it once.

BREAKING NEWS: Canada suspends all maple syrup exports to the United States until further notice. Oh yeah, they would be in the mood to do that. I bet... I bet... One thing though, the Stanley Cup will be already over before the parliament finally passes a motion on that. By that time, Canada will go back to being the friendly neighbor on the North border, rendering that useless anyway.

I believe this is the first time no Canadian team has played in the NFL Playoffs since the 1960's.

I believe this is the first time no Canadian team has played in the NFL Playoffs since the 1960's. NFL is football, NHL is hockey. NHL is mix of USA and Canada. NFL is american only, so there is NO Canadian teams in NFL. They do have their own football league, CFL but it's less well known, and less competitive for players trying to get into the league, and the players who gets into CFL tends to be paid a lot less than players in NFL.

Sorry, I meant NHL. Hockey just isn't talked about much in Boston.

Huh? Sherman, were you from Buffalo, NY? They have Sabres which is a popular team in NHL in that area. Sorry if I confused you with somebody else who did come from there.

Wait Canada and the USA play the same sports? I know you're from Florida but C'mon the NHL has been the same since 2000-ish when my city set up a new team Columbus Blue Jackets. USA and Canada has been both in NHL for like 80-90 years now. Btw, YOUR state has TWO teams playing in NHL and both has been playing longer than my CBJ team. One of them is in Tampa, and other one somewhere (maybe near Orlando or Jacksonville, it just says Florida Panthers).

Being Swiss I only care about Fussball (soccer) and how to avoid paying taxes Ah okay in that case... move to Cayman Islands. You should be fine playing soccer and avoiding taxes in there. It's the world's most famous tax evading nation.
