What do you guys think would be a plausible scenario that could put the Soviet allinged nations agaisnts the US allies like the war in 1950 and 1960 conquests? I know that its far fetched that this would happen (especilly since nukes would be used more) so you can use some creative licence just dont be ubsurd like the aliens influenced it or something like that.

1950: Operation Unthinkable is a go, ww3 starts. However, it most likely ends in a statement so that 1960 could happen
1960: Either side is angry for ww3, so one of them decides to take revenge, and starts ww4. Or it could have been the Cuban Missiles crisis not starting a nuclear war, but a ww4 as in the game happens instead.

I think the most likely scenario would be the Operation unthinkable because of M.A.D. Mutual assured destruction.

This is pretty interesting, time to revive it.
One reason for 1950 could be conflicts in Germany, wars in Asia, India's independence, Iranian coup d'etat, etc

Anyways, it could've been that an incident involving a civilian craft of some sort (the shooting of KAL 007, for instance) triggered the war. Perhaps a trespassing aircraft led one thing to another, until the situation took a turn for the worst. |

Not even right in cold war 1950 USSR, USA had bases in Africa ready to fight each other |
