Just because some poor country that has absolute terrible infrastructure has a really good anti-terror unit doesn't mean they're a formidable invasion force. My country has a great SWAT team program but I'm not basing my argument around a unit. you got no base to argue, first you braged about the navy, now you brag about the swat?! I'm being sarcastic about our swat man. People keep bringing up these militarily irrelevant countries with really good anti-terror units and saying their actually capable of overthrowing the US.

Pakistan has a pretty strong economy btw. And when you talk about richness the UK is richer than the usa. Although most of the former colonies of the uk are indeed more poor than the usa. Pakistan's GDP was 45th in the world a year and a half ago according to the United Nations... Delete that comment.

I'm using them as a sarcastic comparison to the argument that if a country has 1 elite unit, then they're a military force to be feared.

Delete that comment. its increasing BTW, with a rate of 5% per annum, inflation rate is also increasing, we didn't even suffer that much in the recession of 2008 compared to its neighbor India (never underestimate the power of a macroeconomics studying student ) Damn! Where were we?!

As he said, are you all forgetting the land masses they have to cross...That division, in itself, is a major disadvantage. And, admittedly, the U.S. does have a strong navy:P Political and naval blockades would screw Britain over, alone.

I doubt USA would team with EU But if they did... Britain leaves the EU and begins assaulting the mainland, naimly, france and scandinavia. Because of the naval control of the region, Scandinavia kicks back the invaders and political discourse among the nations there are calmed. The french invasion goes well as the nation has focused most of its forces against terror. Britain takes and annexes Britanny and the peninsula around it. Outraged, the United States begins an Embargo crippling the economy of England, Wales, and Scottland. The Commonwealth sends aid to Britain, however most ships are captured by the Americans. Most of Asia sighs a collective yawn and ignores the hubris. America, disgusted by the behaviour of Britains pocket nations moves to blockade India as a show of force, and the aggresion in the Pacific lowers but a strong hate brews... Britain begins an assault on France and takes even more territory, while they would have worse equipment due to America's blockades and embargos, Britain has begun using French arms and factories. With this technique, they are able to invade and annex the rest of France, but a resistance remains. The invasion of Europe is interrupted, as Economic powerhouses and peacekeepers America and Germany begin assaulting The French Colony, America from the West, Germany from the East. Eventually, France is taken back.
Maybe a part two?
