I'm still convinced that simultaneous turns is less salty than taking turns on a forum. Two, factions creates artificial salt that doesn't needs to be there. In Diplomacy, it's explicit and expected to be out on your own, making decisions. Three, sudden attacks can't actually occur in Diplomacy because there's no such thing as making a move 1-3 prep shuffle, 4-9 multi-turn rampage, pillaging the opponent before he could ever get to start on his turn.

While this is true any decent player knows that alliances and dmzs do occur in Dippy, and always end in a backstabbing.

Hey guys, nice to see how this thread went from me returning to border walls lmao So, I've been debating whether or not to tell you all this, but I decided I'd go ahead and say something. On April 7th, at 1:08 EST, my stepmom had a baby girl. It was a little before I came back, so I didn't think it needed to be said, but here it is. The baby's fine, everyone is back home; happiness, baby's, and Bill Cosby noises.

For the 20 after, she will annoy the living daylights out of you Congratulations anyway

Jean-Luc Picard, nah, thats not how it went with me. Some background first: When i was born, i had two sisters, both of whom were at least 8 years older than how old i was (one was already a junior in High School). My older sister felt how you explained it: Thought i was adorable for the first 6 years or so, then after that she flip flopped from hating to liking me. My other sister though... She HATED me since i came out of the womb. She apparently dangled me over our stairs down to the basement at my old house multiple times, she tried to steal my food, and thought i was the worst thing to ever enter into the world. My guess is that she was unhappy that she was demoted from Loved Youngest Child to the Meh Middle Child.

I personally don't abuse my siblings, but they piss me off badly. All those things I wasn't allowed to do when I was their age, they're doing 'em. And they (middle children included) get away with sooooo much, usually by pinning it on me
