The first few WW2 challenges, does it based off actual WWII battles? I feels so.

Most of them. For example, Wipe out the enemy V is battle of the bulge. Rescue the ally III is Stalingrad, idk why Italy is there. Hold the Ground V is the invasion of Italy and occupation of northern Italy by Germany. Break thought encirclement I is the evacuation of Dunkirk. As for a challenge that isn't based in real life is accumulate supplies IV, because Germany never invaded UK.

I never actually made the connection except for the Dunkirk one, but it makes sense. As for the Italians in Stalingrad, the Soviets did defeat an Italian force at the river Don around the time that Stalingrad began to commence.

Knowing that there were Italian soldiers all the way in Stalingrad is interesting. Idk I'm weird like that.

In fact, soldiers from every axis country in Europe fought in that battle, except Bulgaria. However, it would have made more sense if you fought as the Germans, not Italians.

Rescue 4 (aka Montgomery who looks for death) should be Market Garden. Break Through 5 might be Okinawa.

But Breakthrough 5 has IJN carriers, three of them, which makes me thinks it's Leyte Gulf (or specifically, Cape Engano), or both combined. Hold the ground 4 seems like Coral Sea. (Edit: Actually a what-if in case IJN manages to take Port Morseby before the US arrives, since irl the operation was aborted due to the sinking of light carrier Shoho).

Break through encirclement IV seems to be Tunisia 1943

Hold the ground III is the siege of Tobruk, Hold the ground IV is the Japanese invasion of New Guinea and Accumulate supplies II is the East African Campaign.

Hold the ground III is the siege of Tobruk, Hold the ground IV is the Japanese invasion of New Guinea and Accumulate supplies II is the East African Campaign. Hold The ground III & IV are partially what you said, because the city to defend in III is Benghazi, not Toburk and in IV it is Port Moresby, which was never captured. Anyways, Rescue The Ally VI is Vietnam War, but exaggerated a lot. I assume Rescue the Ally VII is the Persian Gulf War, in which the Soviets supported Irak for some reason. Hold the Ground VI is the Korean War and HTG VII is Missiles Crisis, with an overwhelming US force.
