If you just start playing the game I would say hey start again and choose the right General OwO

Restart. Get Badoglio first.
Edit: if he is too expensive, get Crerar. After that, Ozawa. If you really want more gens, get Meyer. No more gens! Now save for Guderian. Too expensive? Then get Govorov. After you get both, get Patton, Konev, and Rommel (or Vatutin). Then upg your free with 5* arty, 4* marching, lv 4 plain fighting, lv 2 or 3 ace force, lv 4 supply, lv 4 artillery barrage, and lv 4 explosive. Prioritize plain, barrage, and explosive.
Edit 2: get greim as a land general if necessary, and then get Goring. Sell ozawa for Nagano/Yamamoto, too.

Alright, here's my plan:
Use him as far as you can, even put him on artillery if necessary(I am serious, I put Student on artillery all the time in campaigns), sell him and get someone like Govorov/Guderian, you should be able to finish most of the human conquests.
