This is the break down of the rewards you get for completing a conquest. Medals and ressources are listed by era and broken down by Major/medium/minor powers. Note if you need industry, focus on the 1939 era as that's the only period that rewards it. 1940/1950/1960 give Energy and Science (no steel) Legend: Medals:Med Steel:St Energy:E Science:Sc
Era/Reward | 1939/Med+St+E | 1943/Med+E+Sc | 1950/Med+E+Sc | 1960/Med+E+Sc |
---|
Major power | 50/500/2000 | 80/2000/1200 | 120/4800/4000 | 150/6000/6000 | Medium power | 100/1000/4000 | 160/4000/2400 | 240/9600/8000 | 300/12000/12000 | Minor state | 150/2000/6000 | 240/6000/4000 | 360/14400/12000 | 450/20000/18000 |
Also it is possible to unlock some wonders in conquest mode,it looks like one unlock per era,it may be completion turn sensitive similar to unlocking princess in European war 4. Here is the wonder info given by EasternEmpire poster (still need confirmation on eras/number of turns ect..): Conquest completed in 1939, 65 round, the Grand Mosque in the ancient city of Cuzco, the Great Pyramid of Christ the Redeemer Conquest completed in 1943, 65 round, Borobudur Opera Wall Jama Masjid Conquest completed in 1950, 65 round, the Eiffel Tower Alhambra Conquest completed in 1960, 80 round, space shuttle program 2-

Pick a big nation, obviously. Also, I recommend allies in 1939, axis in 1943, and MATO in 1950 (I haven't gotten to 1960) stick ur generals in the biggest tanks u can and steamroll to victory

Try to pick nation that has terrorizes close to enemy so you can fight them quicker. I think you can do conquest 1950,1960 as NATO quicker then the others because you enemies are close together and better weapons.

Can somebody give me detailed tips for 1939 conquest? I'm playin as he Japanese and my enemies always get way overpowered. What troops should I use, what country do I invade first, etc. I would concentrate my troops to China and send some to invade Mongolia. The troops from Mongolia you later use to attack Russia from behind. Try to play a defensive offense against the American (use esp. your carriers). Continue doing this. By now you should have been at besieging Moskau (build many bunkers and landforts), defeated China, and control the pacific. With the amount of money you have send paratroopers and to Europe and invade India (same as Moskau) next get South East Asia and use many air attacks. Now you make a war on two fronts. Attack with your Asia troops Australia and a part of them to the south of the US (Los Angeles).A little bit earlier conquer Alaska and send your troops to Vancouver and from the airport there take over west Canada. By now you should be controlling all of Europe. Send your "better" troops (generals) to America and the rest from Spain to Africa and just conquer the land left. I recommend first getting New York and making air attacks with a good general for it aince New York has a Level 3 airport. At the same time send your troops from The West Coast towards Denver and Texas. After you have Washington you are able to bombard Miami and get the last American city (Don't forget to get the one in the pacific though). I hope I was able to help you.

Sorry again, but can somone give me detailed tips for 1950 conquest as either the U.S. or China? (Preferably China but US works too) I really like to play conquest, but I only have a Japanese strategy. I would like to try playing as a different country. And what sides have more of an edge in 1939, 1943, 1950 and 1960? Thanks.

Imo the advantage seem to be: 1939----Axis 1943----Allies 1950----Nato 1960----WTO
Although with good play and decent techs and generals it is faster to do allies in 1939 because enemies are not super far away in the middle of oceans.

So then I am wondering which era is best to farm ressources then.1960 is rich but so much harder.

I still prefer 1960 when it comes to farming. Though it's generally harder but many airfields, missiles, and nuclear facilities help me capture cities faster. I find some minor powers are easier to play than the others; namely Iran, Portugal, Egypt, and Thailand.
