Jean Lannes, Franz von Hipper, and some others have debated matchups in battles, namely Lannes v. Brock and Lannes v. Napoleon. I made this thread so they don't hijack others

we previously had things like this, they were horrible!
BTW I have an idea! General Matchup wars! (RP) that way it stays (for those who want it) yet stays in a safe place
Y'all like-y it?

I still believe Brock vs Lannes would be quite the battle.

As much as it hurts to say, Brock would be crushed by Lannes. Based on EW4.

Also about the Jean Lannes vs Franz von Hipper debate. I want to point out that Brock had a pretty good relationship with the native americans (see Tecumseh), and effectively used them to beat Hull at Detroit. They basically passed multiple time in front of his fort to make it look like they were 2-3k, and they whopped in front of is fort.

I bought academy brock yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised, i raised him to 5 star infantry and he gave solid output, he also, weirdly enough, gave better output than strachman when put on a dhip of the line in the gunboat war campaign, despite only having 2 navy stars.

I think he could've shown himself better hadn't he died in 1812

Heres a good one: Simon Bolivar vs. George Washington, who would win? Simon Bolivar, he was far more successful on the battlefield. Washington lost most of battles he fought but he won the war.

Lannes also would've been better than Ney at Quatre-Bras

Lannes also would've been better than Ney at Quatre-Bras IMO Ney should never had been a Marshall, a good Leader of man and a brave man. But not marshall material, he didn't have good enough decision making.
