Any recommendations for Middle East Campaigns? They seem just as brutal as the Arctic missions of the original. You drive all the way across the map only to get obliterated by 3-4 carriers just sitting there next to the last city.

Just an off topic question, mind showing pics of the Middle East campaigns? I am interested in seeing them.

I'm playing on my phone Samsung S3, not my laptop so I'm not sure how to do screenshots. Anyone Know?
GoG I was able to do 3 out of 4 Antarcticas without spending money (Level 7 Financial/3 Star Commander & Vatutin).
GoGP I needed to general slots (& 19.99 in medals) to get past Korea (I used Level 6 Financial/2 star commander, Govorov, Vatutin, Guderian) I tried it first with just Govorov & Vatutin, but couldn't do get past Nato 2 & WTO 3 without Guderian. On many of them you need to go in two directions at once and need 2 generals to lead each attack because regular forces get chewed up to fast to get anywhere. I almost always put Govorov on rocket arty to sit right behind my tank generals to break up walls of troops.
GoGP I've now done the first two Middle East NATO missions, but am stuck again. I'm farming right now to get Zhukov for the last slot (need more punching/staying power). There are so many enemy generals & artillery that even heavy tanks can go from full health to gone in 1 round.

I think there's that long huge line of troops that suddenly appeares outta nowhere and eats up your men? Am I right? Also, good luck with the farm

Just finished NATO Mideast 3, sorry no screen shots I play on my phone. The key is to take airfields and obliterate everything with bombing (you have massive production from all the refineries) You have to send your generals (commander, 1 hvy tank, & 1 arty) south take out Iraq to get Heavy tank production (turns 2-4). Ignore the Iraq general because if you take the factory, city and airport they disappear. Have your infantry take the refineries because you need to move immediately to Iraq. Make sure the French don't get any because you will need the production. You might want to send your first 1-2 heavy tanks due west to come up under your allies as they are being overrun to retake/help hold. When you're coming back up towards your base clearing Iran from the eastern edge this wall of 40+ troops will come south with 6-8 generals hitting you and your allies to your west. When they take a piece of your allies base (somewhere turns 8-11) all of them go high morale for three turns. Fortify at the lake edge with arty behind and you should still have most of it when your generals make it back. With your generals in a fist and using some light forces to flank and take away morale you can punch through them. Finish Iran (ignore the ships in port) and split your troops 1 group heading north the other west. Ideally the hvy tanks you sent west earlier can push out from your allied base & seize the middle airport and bomb everything left in the center. Then the west group needs to get to the other side of the map fast, take the hvy factory & airport (don't let Monty get them). Nuke the battle ship and get your troops into the water by turn 27-28. Get a tank general to the NW airport bomb everything.

Middle East WTO #1 Key #1: Spam Pony Carriers to support your advance & take out the 4-5 opposing carriers in the west. Key #2: Western allies hold Greece (Only happens if Monty heads NE instead of North)
1st send all troops & Navy SE to take Hvy factory before your allies (to put your 2nd tank gen on a Hvy). Send 1 general to far SE corner and everyone else west as fast as you can building anti-air next to your generals every round when you get to the Turkish forces (or they will disappear).
Middle East WTO #2? Not sure yet. Played a few rounds and looks super rough because your allies can't even take/hold 1 objective out of a a dozen so you have to cross a big mountain range to get it. So, you need to attack on 3 separate axes. I'm about to get my 4th general (Vatutin, Govorov, Guderian, soon Zhukov) so maybe that will do it.

Middle East WTO #2 Accomplished with 2 star gen, Vatutin, Guderian, and Govorov (Still saving for Zhukov though with one mission left I might just get Patton or Rommel...)
Step #1 Only move your troops a little bit south. Monty will charge you by himself and you can surround/wipe him out start of round 2.
Step #2 Move everyone south to take the Brit base while spamming arty. rnds 3-5.
Step #3 Split your forces with 1-2 generals heading south and 1-2 heading east.
Southern Force: The troops going south need to move fast because they got to clear the SW corner and make it to the far SE corner. Also they need anti-air starting about halfway to the SE corner (air bases & carrier).
Northern force: The other forces need to take the central city/hvy factory and it's smaller neighbor and then head NE to take your allies initial objective and then head east to the final star.
The key here is to blitz past/contain the troops in the center east because the remaining objectives are in the NE & SE. and they are just a distraction.

I beat both Axis and Allies with 5 stars, it's complicated to explain but i can still understand how to accomplish it
I will only give quick tips:
Axis
Mission 1 - The key is to keep your troops alive till you've reached the center of turkey or captured the south and middle side of the map
Mission 2 - Send half of your troops to support konev's and rokossivsky's forces to the east side of the map while your generals and remaining troops plow through enemies to the south then to the southeast side of the map. Where you reunite your 2 fronts at Tehran
Mission 3 - This is difficult as they have way more troops than yours and your allies. This time, you need to attack on 3 fronts, directions are directly South Path(Where your commander and other troops go), West Path(Where you assist Timoshenko attacking at sea) and East Path(Where you assist Zhukov attacking Faisal's troops). The South must break through to capture a valuable Lvl.3 Airport while East unites with South and then the two meet up with West unites with the two at Cairo
Allies
Mission 1 - Your generals attack the east side while you support Montgomery's troops at the far northwest side and assist Inn's defense protecting Ankara. Your East troops must plow through North to secure the objectives there
Mission 2 - You must attack on three directions, Northwest(Your Commander must march towards the West of the map), Eastside(Where you must help Clark in taking objectives in the southeast side, Direct North(Your General must capture Baghdad and assist Bradley's force). The Airports of the Russians and Irans are threats to your troops as they seem to have unlimited gold to be used as bombing raids
Mission 3 - Sorry i can't remember, maybe next time

I have Rokkosovsky, Vatutin, Govorov, and Liang. With the first NATO mission the russian attack from the east always wiped me out.I always have Yamamoto in reserve but use him only when I have carriers
