I currently have a no-eyes general who has 3 stars in infantry and tanks. He has 170 hp and two skills, defence tactic and supply lvl 2.
i have 830 medals. What i want to know is should i sell him (can sell him for 2096) and save up a bit more for Guderian or should i keep him and save up for someone like Badoglio.

Yep, didn't understand the game at the time, only found this forum after i spent medals on the eye-covered.

Defensive tactic is not a recommendable skill at all, so in the future when you actially make eye covered generals you'll eventually have to sell him off. |

Okay, thanks for the advice. Yep closed eye generals exist to be cusyomised for the players needs. If your a good tank person but dont have money to by Guderian uograde vlosed eye generals. |

No. If you don't have medals to buy Guderian, you don't have medals to buy even only 5 tank stars. And keep in mind, that even cheaper generals instead of tank stars have some rank (extra hp), some marching stars, some skills, which make them stronger. Such eye-covered general as Guderian will cost much more than Guderian, but main advantage is that you can choose any sills for him and also can raise all skills to level 4 and all stars to 5. |

If you don't have generals and buy them for campaign, than Badoglio and any other general (I think in this situation artillery is better choice) will be better. |
