@+Netherfreek At first... to point out, it was duable without golitsyn since I could of held Lyon without him + did it without medkits. Ok, so, first... IGNORE Marseille, use your 2 ships to attack the 2nd tier guards 2 tiles left of Marsielle. Your ships are going to distract Napoleon for 1-2 rounds untill you get Lyon with your other troops. When your battleship will be at half health, move him back to the port. Everybody you are using pushes to Lyon, I used Lan on heavy cav and Issabella on light arty. After conquering Lyon, kill suchet and split your forces: 1. Charles and Rowland take Clermont. NOTE: They can hold it until round 11. DON'T ATTACK MASSENA 2. Issabella and Lan go to Strasbourg. NOTE: French general on artilliery MUST get pulled over by Prussians before you attack. 3. Issabella and Lan go to Paris. NOTE: Davout can be killed in 2 rounds if you s&l. Side notes: 1. Watch out for your harbor, if your battleship is low, you may need to buy a privateer. NOTE: Junot attacks your harbor at round7 2. Don't waste your resources on anything expensive. Once you reach Lyon, exchange nearly all of your metal since you will need to buy troops in Strasbourg and Lyon every turn. That should be all.

I'm trying this campaign without any maxed out generals. I'm only using 4, but it is so difficult. One thing is for sure: You need an OP cavalry general like Golitsyn or Murat. By the way, anyone know if Berthier is a good general?

By the way, anyone know if Berthier is a good general? He is only good when you give him cav stars, so you need to buy 4 cav trainers, it costs 3000+ medals. The strongest cav general is Lan but you need to complete conquest in under 31 turns to unlock her.

Berthier need about 3000 Medals to become VERY GOOD to use, the cost comes from: 4 Agha (1500 medals) and 3 Diez (1530 medals). It make your Berther 5* in Cavalry and 4* in Movement. With 4* in move, Berthier can move 4 hex without any Move support items and independent of what kind of Cavalry unit he's in.
