I tried fielding an all princess squad so Maria was my infantry general for a long time until I got Victoria. She was sufficient enough to get to the end of Eastern Overlord. A snare drum helps her a lot. She dealt around 45 damage per hit. Then I got Victoria and she does 70 per hit so Maria isn't that good in comparison, but decent enough. |

Think of it as this: Sakurako is a step under Lan (it's a large step) and Maria is a step under Victoria (another large step). There are tier 2 generals better than them, but these two are free and can get the job done. |

Sakurako can be on any army unit after fully regrouped. |

Like Picard said, who do you have? 5*arty navy Kate, 5*Washington lannes, Moreau and murat I think you should get Isabela. If you do the HRE guide with Moreau, Lannes (in Ottoman) and Murat in France you should easily get Isabela. |
