I was a little confused about this,I think Easytech doesnt do a good job with names.In world conqueror 3 there are already technology items like airplane tech,artillery tech and such,so they should have called the ressource "technology" something else like science or something.
They did same thing in European war 4,they have "stars" for everything.

Ion gun technology goes in very far 20+ levels. The power increase > atomic bomb. Turn to use reduced from 10 to 4. So become as if free atomic use every 4 turns,same as all enemy generals ninja assassinated  Too powerfull,cost very high,pay to win thing. Have seen photo but have forgot saving,so no show. |

Ohh like these wonders could give you a tech level of ion canon of a tech level of infantry,or did you mean technology as in just science ressource. Ie: 3 ressources in game:steel,energy,science ?I dont even know whats the right terms since all I hot is the chinese game. The three resources in the game that used for the upgrades are:industry, energy and technology. The launch plan of satellite gives you +6 technology per 60 days. Off curse it doesn't worthy it at all. You should make it only if you have finish your other upgrades and get the achievements like the moon conquer,the solar system conqueror. |

As far as I can see it does nothing other than allow the building of wonders that give energy. The cost doesn't make any sense to me either,maybe there is something about this that we dont know about. I seen somewhere on youtube I think where it shows an animation movie like clip of like 10 seconds after building one of the wonders from that tech,as if this was something special. Yeap mega ressources spending for an achievement and a 5 seconds animation clip,it looks like this:  |
