Um..a practical answer is no. Eye-covered + Guderian is already the best tank lineup done. He might fit in no.3 tank but there aren't many times I need 3 tanks, and if I do, 17000 is still too expensive. I'll consider him only after I have no more generals left to buy or promote. He could fit in no.2 tank/arty, and even infantry. But he's way too expensive, both actual Manstein at 20 bucks and hypothetical Manstein Clone at 17000 medals. |

Redenation to buy him:
5 star air for only 400 medals!!! Yes, his output is not the highest, but keep him from the front and hell shine!
Redenation to not buy him:
He is extremely bad when fighting back, only 1 star in infantery and thats it. He also has only 50 lives which is weak. Ozawa is just way better.

He's an emergency air general, which is nice for 400 medals. |
