All of them lost the battle when their country needed them the most.
Edit:
Grouchy lost at Waterloo.
Gravina failed at Trafalgar and retreated with more than half of his fleet.
Lieberich didn't know how to count: was supposed to cooperate with the Russian army but apparently used the wrong calendar.
Alexander 1. - No need to talk about him.
