I was pretty confident earlier as I took your advice to go straight to Guderian and not waste medals on intermediate generals. One of the three eye covered generals should be used for Infantry/Air? I was thinking to do Arty for two and maybe tank for one In the end its all about the fun you have in the game. Since your stuck and have to farm a lot of medals for 3 eye covered you have to aak yourself if you like that. If not you can invest in one more art guy (konev for example) and maybe indeed get yamamoto (i miss him often after restart and following the experienced guide).. Then finish your art guy and start to make anotherone (art or tank). What you say is very true, its about the level of fun. I wish to complete the game, thus maybe my question should be rephrased as would konev be one of the end state generals? If he isn't, then I would concentrate on the eye covered upgrade |

Konev would probably serve as Artillery no. 3 or so.
