I was interested with a thread of a similar title but I could not find it. But I really liked it so I recreated it.
For each general please do not take this at an only endgame standpoint. Try viewing it from a begginging and a mid-game view.

Tank air desert combo. Looks like montgomery. A bit too expensive imo. The stars system is working the following 8-6-6-6-8. So he misses the 8 stars. For air, there are way cheaper ones, like greim and göring. For tanks, a bit too low output outside africa, so a no for me.
Btw i know which thread you mean (since i created it), its in the planning room

Yes definitely. The only movy arty dude in this game except manstein, which can not be bought without real money. Movement is very important for artillery. Also the argument of non-flexibeles is nonsense. You can only use a general on 1 unit, cant you? So why complaining about that.
Furthermore he also has some air stars, not much but it can be fital in some cases. Also his health is great. And then his price, hes a bit underpriced imo. I still would have bought him definitely when he was 1000 medals more expensive
