Please if someone could put the need-to-know basics of regrouping below. I'm really bad and need this guide for myself.

How to Regroup: Press on the little I on the corner of your general's picture whilst in headquarters. When info tab is pulled up there will be to the right of picture two boxes (empty if your general has no items) and then two tabs, regroup and items. Press the regroup button and a new tab will appear, with all of your owned generals at the bottom of the screen. Select the general you wish to have absorbed by the general you are training, and press confirm. Press the affirmative icon on the next box and CONGRATS you have regrouped your first general! When to regroup: Regrouping should only ever be used to increase the abilities of a general with a trainer, or to free a spot on your list for an IMMEDIATE replacement. A trainer is a general bought from the store who has a specific ability with an orange icon and a title that reads "(this type) trainer. Only trainers should be regrouped by choice as they add skills (this will be confirmed on the regrouping selection screen, as a star will be added under the general being trained's statistics) you can look elsewhere for the best trainers, but if you need further clarification please do ask. Tips: A trainer exists for every statistic measured in stars, even forts! The max stars for every ability is 5, so do not try to train past 5 as it will waste the trainer! It is best to buy high level generals and low level trainers, as a mid or high level trainer will have a lot of extra abilities and fluff that makes them more expensive, but which you don't (probably of course) care about! It is best to have a general5 star specific to artillery and another 5 star specific to calvary and a last specific to an ability of your choice, then (if you are ftp) make the last slot someone w/ 4-5 stars already in some one area to maximize their usefulness to you

Thank you! I've heard never regroup a princess, but why? Which 4 princesses should I have in the end?

If you regroup a princess you will NEVER be able to get her back, so people say to never regroup them. If it were me, my final squad would need a Sophia (russian anti-fort artillery) and the other artillery princess (ottoman I believe) and Kate (american naval). The others are made semi-redundant by the fact you should have equal or better generals by the time you stand a chance at getting them easily

I recommend Victoria instead (Inf/Navy) 3) The other artillery princess is French (Isabela)
