I am stuck with 850 medals and no generals just 2 of the country ones...how do I get more medals as I cannot beat the campaign at my current stage

I am stuck with 850 medals and no generals just 2 of the country ones...how do I get more medals as I cannot beat the campaign at my current stage Let me dig up an old post of mine. european-war-4.boards.net/post/35999/That was for picking which country in conquest 1943. 1939 is basically pick any Axis except Thailand (and Germany might be a bit complicated at first). Too easy to win as Axis in every category for 1939. It's also too easy to earn medals from playing as Allies in 1943. |

I tried it on auto play once just to see what would happen and according to that you have both conquests mixed up but I don't know cause I haven't won;)

I tried it on auto play once just to see what would happen and according to that you have both conquests mixed up but I don't know cause I haven't won;) Autoplay is only if you already won the same old conquest and you just want to get it over with. It's a little tricky to get it properly on its own feet for you to farm for free resources (from running the clock for wonders to give medals, industry, energy, and atoms) |

I just read your thread...how do you invade with US just gather an army by the coast and just a mass invasion? That's probably easier after you already captured the cities that you plan to invade from. Be warned. So if you got something in Europe, it's best to finish cleaning up the whole area of Europe then use Dublin as a launching point of attack to enter Canada/USA from the Northeast direction. Alternative path: If you capture Spain and Portugal -> go for Cuba to help you enter Florida and push north from there. Dakar in Africa -> Brazil then... move up to Cuba -> Florida and also go through Mexico -> Los Angeles. Japan, it's already discussed recently. Japan -> Alaska -> western coast of Canada and California. Again, the whole idea behind invading America from outside is to make sure that you have secured your own coast before moving into the water to cross over to USA. I could see if I can recreate a situation of invade the Americas and make a picture out of it. ------------------------------------- My comment about using the extra armies that you get as leftovers is applicable. Use whatever you got, but you might want to make sure that you produce Motorized Infantry on purpose at the beginning of the invasion in addition to what you already have at the point. I often accidentally end up with an excess of 20 troops that I have lying around in Western Europe and if I want to, I just send them over to USA anyway. |

I totally forget to also give some advice about it OAO and now as you have chosen them wrong that's too late to help you for it... though generals are unnecessary in most conquests, would you mind restart the game? QwQ No I wouldn't mind...what generals should I choose As you could see NetherFreek advice is as same as most of us, Badoglio should be one of the best starting general in terms of price and usefulness OwO however, again I would like to again take the chance to promote my own idea: you may also choose Crerar from San Francisco before Badoglio OwO |

I won't mind having excess troops while preparing any strategy, wouldn't you OwO just to play safe And good analyzing! |
