Confusion about forum language

Make sure to use the report button found under the cog wheel.All reports are investigated.There is no penalty for reporting.Members are given the benefit of the doubt but anyone showing a history of offending others will get penalized. Again normal conversation (even if not 100 percent neutral) is allowed and welcome but malice,bashing and the like is not.

It's often difficult to determine true motivation in a post,whether something said is just an inententional slip or if it is something else but what is not difficult to establish is a profile or a history of a member.
So someone occasionally saying something insensitive will probably will just be overlooked but someone with a long history of offending others either thru harsh language or cultural insensitivity will receive appropriate administrative action.

Again the intention here is to make our forum a non-hostile environment where everyone is welcome and free to post but with some limitations and considerations with regard to their fellow posters.

Ah! You are too easily offended then,I would suggest anger management course or/and regular exercise as both are proven and effective methods to alleviate that problem

Thru btw is an acceptable spelling version of through in informal settings.In some instances the word "thru" is actually the prefered version of the spelling. Read: grammarist.com/spelling/through-thru/

Anyways I am guilty of much worse butchering of the English language than that,specially when posting from a cell phone or if in a hurry.
I know this is meant as a joke but it still would be an applicable example,the litmus test here would be "what was Saltin intention here? "

Was it just a slip? a normal way of expression? a deliberate precisely engineered statemement designed to entice and provoke anger in Bismark?

I just cooked up a little module from the plugin library for temporary relief,you can play with it for a while before I take it down again.This only show up on the desktop version btw not the mobile.

That may be true but the Easytech fan community here in the forum also has its own culture and it is a bit similar to the Borg Collective:it assimilates every other culture in terms of behaving decently toward each other
