Sanskrit is a newer language from indo-European language tree. I mean oldest LIVING language. No one knows the first language silly goose. Can you read what I said Sanskrit is newer than Baltic language, they are from the same language tree(indo-European) and noone knows which was the first languages, but indo-European tree is the oldest living, I've heard some old stories about some language researcher and his house manager which was from Baltic and they were in India and the house manager needed to go to market to get food and after she returned researcher asked herhow she talked with the locals and she said that they talk in a very *Auto Corrected* Baltican language and she had talked with them like with a people talking in a different dialect and that researcher started to research that bound and he found that Baltic languages are an old part of indo-European language tree.

I already told that it is scientifically researched that oldest living language is Baltic language group in them there are only 2 big live languages Latvian and Lithuanian and Prussian was a Baltic language, and Belorussian was a Baltic language until it was destroyed by USSR none of Belorussians talks in Belorussian language anymore, they talks in Russian (which is very new language, it exists only about 1000-1500 years) And Sanskrit is 5-10 thousand years newer than Baltic language.

Sumerian and Babylonian aren't oldest languages, they had the first writing. Well, not the oldest living languages, but still the oldest known languages far as we can tell. We do know there is some sort of pre-language before that but we have no record of it. That's all I was stating.

Oh so you'll propose that Klingon is the oldest language now? Lol I don't recognize the words, but it's definitely Klingon in up there in that post of yours.

Actually oldest known language with gramatic is Navi, but it is not a live language, it was revived for some time for scientific research and it was used in the movie Avatar, but still nobody can say if it was the first language, but it has been defined as oldest known language.

French can't be it because it derived from Latin, which didn't came around until ~756 B.C.E. Meanwhile, Persian, Hebrew, and Basque were all before it (maybe not Basque, but its so mysterious that we don't even know where it originated from). I doubt Persian. I'd say Egyptian, or Sumerian would be a good pick. Yes I know Elam in Persia but they came after the Sumerians

Oh, yes then Persian is definitely one of them. I personally would rather say Median which is still somewhat existent just other languages in the same family being similar
