How is this guy famous? Ive never heard of him in my life. Then you sincerely missed something, this guy is after Mozart , Bach and Beethoven the most famous composer the world has ever known. His music is so emotional and brilliant that he has found the art of expressing emotions well through music. This man is a genius.

Granted, the last music class I've taken was in seventh grade, but still, nonetheless, this guy is clearly not as famous as some other Poles throughout history. Joseph Conrad wrote The Heart of Darkness, a book which basically everyone knows of, David Ben-Gurion (whether you like him or not) is a very famous figure of the 20th century, Copernicus basically started the Scientific Revolution in Europe, and Jozef Pitsudski is also a very famous figure of the 20th century. Meanwhile, i have never heard of this man: once. Maybe its just that i'm not into music, but still. Whatever, its your opinion, i just disagree

But Copernicus is almost as famous as Chopin Well if you don't know The Heart of Darkness, this just confirms my *unstated* belief. I think we're all using the word "famous" without any real good backing. I think that when we say famous, we think that the person is famous when they're well known in our area or our country or our continent. When, in reality, many people internationally don't know who the hell that guy is. My point is we shouldn't use the term "World Famous" if we don't know if they actually are very well known around the world.
