Nope I don't know that book... But Copernicus is almost as famous as Chopin Well if you don't know The Heart of Darkness, this just confirms my *unstated* belief. I think we're all using the word "famous" without any real good backing. I think that when we say famous, we think that the person is famous when they're well known in our area or our country or our continent. When, in reality, many people internationally don't know who the hell that guy is. My point is we shouldn't use the term "World Famous" if we don't know if they actually are very well known around the world. Damn even Australians know who is Chopin

Beethoven and Mozart are the two I know. Lol it is under 0.1‰ of all of them I was just trying to say that not everyone knows the people who considered "World Famous". Anyway, that was my point, no rebuttal needed.

Look who turns up first: www.biography.com/people/groups/polishAnd before posting this I did research on how famous he is, and he is extremely famous international. If you guys do not known him, sorry , but that does not make him less famous. PS: Since Asians did not write much classic music (they did write a lot of other kinds of music) they are 'forced' to play western componist when playing a classical music instrument. We are talking now about maybe 250 million Asians and I bet 80% of them have played Chopin before.
