New rules of games from Chinese government: 1. No traditional Chinese character. 2. No map that occurs in RL. 3. No bare female character. 4. No violent word. 5. No inappropriate systems (slave, marriage, etc.). 6. No percentage item that needs to be bought by RMB(for example getting Mammoth by xx%). 7. No bloody or violent scene. 8. No names of famous brand/person. 9. No hunting protected animals. 10. No item involved with protected animals. 11. No occult words. 12. No person or event about modern times(WWI, WWII, etc.). 13. No inappropriate words in public talk. All games with these materials will be prohibited by Chinese government. So, if this is true... Goodbye, new update of GoG2. I just cannot believe this, have to check one more time. 8th and 12th points says it goodbye easytech

I am thinking even if these are the new rules that they might not make them retroactive,it might just apply just to new games. In that case they might still be allowed to update older games without breaking the new rules.
Also it all depends how the enforcement is,for example Easytech maps never been all that accurate so one could argue they dont completely represent real world maps. For future games I think Easytech could easily just keep same systems they have used in the past and just change names. So it wont be WW2 with Hitler invading Poland anymore but instead Nationalist YYUU invading the confedation of ZZZ. The games will be just as fun, minus the immersion factor.
