Hi all
I'm new to the forum and i have a few questions about getting Lan.
I know the best way is HRE 1798 (Kanue's guide) and i have 3 generals: Goltisyn (110,7), Sophia and Isabella (both upgraded to 5 artillery and 4 movement.) I also have lots of items: Snare drum, warhorse, 2+ art and cav movement, 2 tents (6+), powder and saber.
i want to know how many campaign stars i should get before i attempt getting Lan. I need to try to get the 50 years ruled bonus. Also should i make guard cav (by selling hammers in turn 1) and put golitsyn on that or put him on the double light cav?

Thanks In order to get Lan in HRE1798 You need to finish the conquest not later then turn 31. For turn 31 and resources somewhat around 9900+/3300+/9500+ You need about 340+ stars (depending on Your nobility) for Lan and only 195+ stars for Victoria But actually formula is complicated. In case You can finish the conquest faster then the requirements for both of them are lower. But note for Victoria You need to be more focused on resources (specifically Equipment) while for Lan - campaign stars are more important. For example You can have only 2200+ equipment at turn 31 for receiving Lan in case You finished all the campaigns. But it is not enough for Victoria. |

No. 340 stars or something around that is for a particular numbers of resources at turn 31 (9900+ gold / 4000+ equipment / 9500+ food) In case you finish earlier or will have more resources then You will need less stars. And in case You are not able to farm so much resources then You have to get more stars in campaigns. That's the idea. Regarding Nobility. The correct answer: we don't know the exact impact of that into the formula. But I doubt it is valuable too much. It influences but not to much according to my observations. So just ignore it and focus on turns/resources/stars and everything will be OK  Good luck! |

Should i make a double guard cav for golitsyn at the beginning by trading resources using archduke c or put him on the light double cav?

For campaigns, do i need to get 5 stars or is it the number of campaigns i finish that determines the number of years ruled when i do conquest? At the moment, i have 5 stars for all the coalition and imperial eagle missions. I keep trying to get 5 stars but i dont know if it matters.

There is no requirement to pass every mission for 5 stars. |

It is up to you, at least Imperial Eagle and Coalition and HRE with most of them 5 starred, but you'd really need to be fast in getting HRE conquest done, or add more campaign stars to get an extra turn or two to do stuff in the conquest |

We don't know the formula really. Just make a save on the turn before victory for Lan and try again after every campaign

which campaigns do you think i should try to do before i attempt getting lan? What is the amount of resources You are getting from the conquest? In case it is somewhat around figures I specified earlier You will get Lan somewhere in the beginning of American campaign. |
