i thought she is the best at fort cracking, she does the most damage i've ever seen a general do against forts

i thought she is the best at fort cracking, she does the most damage i've ever seen a general do against forts For all practical purposes, she will have the best output, but Cavalry is better for running from Fort to Fort at the end of your game

i guess but murat can only run 1 more hex than sophia i think, so not a huge difference, plus sophia won't take any damage if she is on a rocket artillery

Also, most players with 6 slots will have lan as their main cav general and lasalle/golytisn as the last slot filler, it doesn't seem wise to have 3 cav generals if you also add murat into your lineup. Better to have 3 artillery than 3 cav imo

so if you want to have the most effective lineup, murat sadly won't be part of it. If i had 6 slots and i can spend 6 shields, i will have lan and golytisn as my cav, isabella, sophia and moreau for artillery and victoria for infantry. Lan, sophia and victoria can be my hybrids after giving them stars.

when i'm doing campaigns atm, my artillery generals help me so much to defeat the enemy generals. Without them, it will be so hard to get 5 stars because you are always outnumbered. Golytisn is a huge help too because he helps to protect my artillery generals and he also saves me a few turns because he can kill multiple enemies so i can speed through campaigns. I don't know what i would do without them.

Bro, you only finish with 4 shields. 1 per 2 campaigns+1 in the beginning=4. if you do have 6 emblems, buy Poniatowski for the hybrid slot, since he can be Artillery, Cavalry, Infantry, AND navy. Isabela makes Moreau redundant

I know i won't be able to buy any tier 3 general without buying shields. I'm just saying i will buy moreau if i was given 6 shields to spend.
I get your point but still moreau is the best general you can buy from tier 3. He is not made redundant by isabella. They can work together and they will be unstoppable.

You should pair 1 artillery to 1 cavalry. Isabela's perfect teammate is Murat (team can handle forts too) or Lan. You should put a hybrid in slot 5, and Moreau is not one. Hence, he is made redundant by the princesses

whenever i go up against an enemy general in campaigns, i have my infantry and golytisn flank them to reduce their moral and get all my artillery generals to bombarde him so golytisn can finish him off. It's called blitzkrieg and it's very effective. This is why i prefer to have another artillery general and moreau has the greatest output.

Blitzkrieg would be sending your troops straight to targets fast. If you prefer Moreau, that's your choice, but I think that being able to choose where to put that extra general (Cav vs Art) is valuable and that's why I like Davout and Poniatowski

surround and pound it is then, but anyway, there always seem to be enough artillery for 3 artillery generals, usually there is 1 rocket for sophia, 1 heavy for isabella and 1 light, but you are given enough resources to make another heavy artillery. So the lack of a specific unit has not been a problem for me so far. Maybe it might be later on in the campaigns but if there isn't enough artillery, i can always put sophia on guards if i give her infantry stars.

yea but it's better for cavalry. Who is better in your opinion, suvurov or lannes on infantry? All of these 5 can be called top ranked infantry: Suvorov for non-Leadership and non-s&l. Victoria for non-Leadership s&l or crazy s&l. Lannes for Leadership s&l. Washington for survivalability focused Leadership non-s&l. Wellesley for output focused Leadership non-s&l.
