I keep getting a lot of ads for the MapQuest app. I ranked very high in spatial logic tests pretty much every time. And I could navigate with a folded map by the age of 11 (yes, people used paper maps before GPS was invented). I don't really ever get lost driving around even in a city that I visited for the first time. Oh and plus... I already have Google Maps anyway. Why? Why, MapQuest? Why? Why me? Once a while I randomly get a Spanish ad. O.o I don't even speak it. Mi no hablas Español! (A very useful phrase to use if someone tried to speak to me in Spanish)

I get that Spainsh ad too, ADSL Anyways I'm probably one of the few in my family who never get lost when we get out, may be its because of me keeping track of the whole route? or maybe it's because of me pretty much "memorizing" the whole route? (Still don't know??)

Just an example, Route 43 goes north-south, route 45 goes north-south too, but is offset by 5 miles to east of route 43. Route 44 goes west-east and goes through both route 43 and 45. Not too hard to figure that you would probably go north on 45 then west on 44 then north on 43 to get somewhere northwest, right?

Interesting, I just have a visual map in my head naturally.

Jean Lannes,Right, but it's a design issue not an assembly problem. The Malm line tips over like this: Desophaeus I am the opposite it takes me longer for spacial memorizations.New city/areas get familiar to me only after I have seen/traveled through them several times.Google maps very handy for me @to everyone I am also getting Spanish ads, kinda weird that we are getting served ads in a language most of us can't speak or understand.

saltin, I still do need a couple of weeks to become strongly familiar with the general layout of a city. After that, I still use Google maps for the endpoint navigation but I don't really look at it while navigate through the main roads at all. And the IKEA thing? The Mainstay brand is even worse in safety (it's the cheap fake wood furniture shipped from China into the Walmart stores that you find). I've decided a long time ago that I refuse to pay $50 dollars for a "wooden" table that doesn't last. I prefer to get some real lumber and I would cut, sand, and then stain them and assemble it myself. That way, I end up with a well made $70 table that will last for 30 years or even longer.
