That was purely a matter of name. It was a nation of the Poles, in the land of Poland. Semantics, if you may It was a nation of Poles but never called Poland. Calling it Poland isn't very accurate by the devs, Warsaw would've been a better title but also, who cares? It's a nation in the game. True. But a small error compared to some others (Adwanced tutorial, Lannes being in Spain in 1809)

But a small error compared to some others (Adwanced tutorial, Lannes being in Spain in 1809) Yes, if I remember correctly he died in late May 1809 in Austria. But actually him being in Spain makes sense. He was at the 2nd Siege of Saragossa which lasted from late 1808 to early 1809 so that might explain him being on the way to Austria as they just declared war. Maybe this Lannes guy (I think I saw him on page 2) has some more info on that. That aside there are many historical errors in this game and the Poles definitely are one.

The 1809 poles are just a misnomer. The 1798 ones are in the wrong time

They also add any muslim general to Ottoman empire. Not to mention the native Americans are added as North Africans. Sometimes easytech just kills it!

Well it was a joke about Cornplanter xD But just the same North Africa serves only to make your 1815 conquest 5 turns longer than it should be

Also Poland is literally surrounded by countries who they have lost to before Poland is doomed unless you intervene, even when you play as far-away coalition countries they will die by turn 40
