Moderator Release #1: June 12th-June 21st This week was a week of stress, anger, excitement, fun times, and progress. First subject was the new moderator of the mod board. There were many people in the running, but a majority of the people said Jean-Luc Picard. We had a nice little celebration on the mod board. There was cake involved, some nice drinks, all good, all good. Second subject was the mod board being overrun by SCARY MONEY STEALING MODS. We shut down the board and did a nice old Stalinist purge of all unwanteds in the mod board. There were a few people who were really butthurt over the temporary shutdown, but we...dealt with them using our Secret Poli-I mean nice manners. Third is something not really relevant, but Mountbatten had a dream where all of the regular members could see all our secrets in the Modcave. BTW, it is for your own good that you cannot see the stuff that goes in the Modcave! This would happen to all the regular members who dare open their eyes to our secrets: So do not release the secrets of the almost biblically powerful Modcave! Finally, I plan to get my lectures such as the South American and Canadian back on track, finally finish the interbellum lecture, and maybe even start a new lecture about the Sikhs/South Asia following the Middle Ages. From the Defender of the Oligarchic Republic, General William T. Sherman

Modcave=The place where all of us moderators cackle evilly and decide the fates of men I would suggest to change it in "fates of some easy tech addicted children"

Moderator Release #2: June 21st-June 25th The end of the week has come with it drastic changes to the system of our Oligarchic Republic which I am ecstatic to share with the rest of you all. First, we have implemented the First Great Purge. The purge was aimed at raising the poor morale of the membership and eliminate all opposition to the rules. We deported a sizable amount of people to our many gulags and are currently proceeding with the trials of the top offenders. The names of the top offenders are currently disclosed, but they are on trial for conspiracy against the state and could face execution if deemed guilty. This First Purge has been a massive success at strengthening our grip over the state and eliminating virtually opposition. Secondly, and in all seriousness, I have restarted the South American history lecture, and it is hoped i will start either Immigration in South America or foreign intervention in South America next. Third, we are hoping to begin implementing a system where warning levels will be degraded over time for good behavior. We have noticed that some members have very high warning levels despite being good for a while, so this will be a way to reward good behavior. From the Oligarchic South American History Teacher, General William T. Sherman
