Note: Work in progress First guide, please point out if there is any problems! Will be divided into posts. Beginning: Western Front
Key for Pictures: Red: your movements and attacks. Blue: enemy movements and attacks. Green: suggested general placement area. Magenta: Arty front lines Orange: Ally movements and attacks Yellow: Key points. Leningrad Front (Govorov): do not move him at all costs. Instead, take out Mannerheim and stray German and Finnish troops. Moscow Front (Troops around Moscow, Yekaterinburg): Try to keep the gen in Moscow at the start in Moscow. Or at least until Guderian is dead and Germany has their early-game Paratroop spam moving too close to Moscow four your comfort. To deal with Guderian, place a general on that group of Tanks above him. He will probably die, but Guderian will be much more easier to deal with after. Minsk will have to be stormed with Arty. Keep your Artillery around the Magenta line and bombard, retreating whenever the enemy moves a gen out. Manstein will spawn in Minsk around a couple turns in, so be careful. I would place a decent Arty gen on that Rocket Arty near Moscow to cope with Minsk. Central Front (space between Moscow Front and Kievan Front, troops in Saratov, Zhukov): Use Zhukov to deal with (it should be) Model, then merge with Moscow/Kievan front, wherever Zhukov is needed. Kievan Front (troops around Kiev, Stalingrad): save Kiev for later (read: when enemy generals have been dealt with); Romania will try to attack almost immediately. As in the other Fronts, Arty is also effective; the Romanian gens and the German Arty gen can all be destroyed via Arty. Keep the Stalingrad general in Stalingrad until the first Romanian and German general are defeated, and use him on Antonescu. The Navy general can move between bombarding that Crimean city(take via paratroop, will be useful later) and bombarding Romanian troops.

Beginning: Eastern Front .org/image/ebxstmz5t/] You can't really do much here until Japan stops Paratroop spamming here and loses steam (usually when Patton invades Japan). Don't waste your generals here in the beginning, as Paratroop spamming will wear them out. Try to make your arty gen take that oil field near Changchun, take out Yamashita, and retreat. Defend your general and the Two ports until Midgame.

Note: I'm actually replaying this with early-game generals, so it may take a while for me to post. Also, shaded blue represents Paratroop spam.

Midgame: Western Front .org/image/hnovzoz4n/] Once Kiev and Minsk are yours, the midgame begins. The end goal of this part of the conquest is to successfully taken and hold on to Berlin. Don't worry about the Western European regions; USA, UK and assorted American allies will take care of them. Leningrad Front (same as before): Keep holding on to Leningrad for a while, then bombard Helsinki after Riga is taken. After Finland is wiped out, merge with Warsaw Front near Berlin. Warsaw Front (the ex-Moscow and (part of) Central Fronts): Take Warsaw first; after that, split up the Front. Northern section: invade Riga, then Paratroop-hop (invading forces are Paratroops, with Land units being used to destroy garrison and city HP) to Helsinki (supported by Leningrad Front) and Copenhagen, bombard Berlin. Southern Section: invade Berlin, with Warsaw and Northern section providing air support. Prague Front (Northern Kievan Front): invade Budapest, Prague, Munich. Use those to assist Warsaw Front in Berlin. Belgrade Front (Southern Kievan Front): Invade all cities in Balkans. Make sure to keep Belgrade, as it is the keystone to invading Italy. Some of this front's weaker forces can potentially join Prague Front while the rest prepare to invade Italy in the late game. For Eastern Front during this time: repeat opening: make sure gen survives, try to keep at least 1 port. Attachments:

TL;DR: Paratroop-hop to invade major level 2 airport; invade Berlin. You should have what's left of Germany in Oslo-Marseille/Lyons-Africa and Italy to wipe out, will not elaborate since it's just steamrolling after this.

Mid-Late game: Eastern Front Note: 50% of the time, Japan usually captures the Blue shaded area before the US is successful in invading Japan. Around this time, your key goal is to get to Changchun. Paratroop and/or build troops in Yekaterinburg, and join up with your arty general and invade Changchun. If Ulan Bator is Japanese, take it as well; it's not like the Mongolians can capture it without our help anyway. Beware of Chinese general in Siberia stealing your city (as the ROC usually sends a infantry gen into Siberia, who either gets killed or is left with low HP on a oil field; he usually stays there, but I have seen a high HP general steal Changchun before.). After that , capture Pyongyang; Japan should be fully annexed by Patton now. (If he fails, build up army and invade Japan yourself; they should be weakened by the previous invasion force) If blue shaded area is Japanese, as it usually happens, Paratroop-hop (paratrooping from Lv 2 airport to Lv 2 airport) around China, and build Armoured cars to capture the rest (Western China, whatever parts of SE Asia they still have). You may want an infantry/weak tank gen to assist in defeating remaining Japanese gens.

Helpfull guide Quintus Fabius,I like it but my suggestion when uploading pics is to use the [Add image to post] feature instead of using the [Add attachement].In that way the full size of the image (that you choose) will show instead of a reduced one. Most players prefer that format when looking at guides. For example, check out me reposting you last pic: .org/image/66jyp8pg7/]

Leave Pacific alone, and He will spawn. But Japan sometimes beat him back. 1943 is basically race against time, before Japan becomes powerful. He usually appears in first 20-30 turns.

ok may i add i hate japan when i play this game unless i am them ive never seen a country do such a large amount of paraspam (its more paraspam than me and i paraspam so much) and when you fight them its not like they are hard but the sheer amount of para spam and bombing runs is absurd

Enjoy. Of course, I love paraspamming in my playthroughs, so... yeah. Also, paraspam is easy to counter. mines if you really hate them, gens and armoured cars (machine gun makes toast out of inf, see the 'skills on the unit profiles') if not. and your own paraspam.

i really need rocket anti air and mines and they'll be gone btw on your tech tree does the enemy get the same benefits as you because i had level 2 paratroop which drops assault troops and all of a sudden japan has it
