I think Jared Diamond can add another chapter to his book: "Guns, germs and steel"...
Part 5: How the West gave away his power by ignorant civilians who only used false sentiment driven by nationalists and eager media bussiness all thinking on short term satisfaction instead of long term steady government and economics.
Chapter 20: refugees Chapter 21: Upcoming of nationalists and ultra right parties Chapter 22: referendum, the beginning of the destruction Chapter 23: Brexit Chapter 24: trump, the collaps of the power of USA Chapter 25: the end of Nato Chapter 26: start of WW3

My impression from the historians I talk to is that GG&S is not actually that accurate a book, despite being famous.

You sir, are a godsend I had to read a lot of that book for my AP World Class Freshman year and I was so utterly bored by it. My teacher was always like "Jared Diamond is a great author, this book is the best book in the world" Im just like "Ive read better" and she said "Well you better like it or else" and then I said "Okayy then..." Knowing that this isn't very accurate just makes me happy because I hated that book to the core.
