I have Picton, Scharnhorst, Golitsyn, and Sophia. I'm considering regrouping Sophia for Ney. Should I do it?

Your generals are good, i don't know about picton because i never had him. Never regroup Sophia, you need her. She is probably the strongest general you have.

Sophia is better than Ney, even for cavalry, because Mobility=0. If anything, regroup Picton to have a trainer slot

In my opinion friend, the ONLY thing that makes a general bad is your opinion for them. Yes, comparatively some are better than most, but that only matters in super high level gameplay, but to answer your question yes, your general lineup is quite good, though I'd reccomend regrouping picton, getting trainers, and having Döbeln be your last slot filler for inf

Döbeln>Oudinot>Picton in one on one If you don't have, or have a lot if equipments other than a drum, Dobeln>Oudinot.

I may have a controversial opinion, but I prefer Döbeln just because 2 +6 is better in my opinion than 1 +6 and drums

But the question for people buying infantry general is will you buy infantry specialized equipments? Because horse and drum are musts, but a +6 gun isn't.

Very true, I didn't think of that. I just went for Döneln because I play this game way too much and I like seeing huge numbers come from an infantry formation (120+ rolls when fighting cav=lyfe). Of course, it's up to OP what he wants to do, maybe keep Picton and replace another? Replace Picton w/ another inf general? Hire Andrade and give him 5 stars in everything? The choice is his, we can only be here to provide advice and well wishes xD I *almost* wrapped it all back onto topic

I like to have my drum with Dombrowski (Lan and Radetzky in my old game), so Dobeln becomes more appealing by virtue of that self-sufficiency.

Victoria>Suvorov>Lannes>Dobeln>Oudinot>Picton>Hull IMO It depends really, if you're willing to s/l then Lannes>Suvorov but if you're not then Suvorov. But still, it's only your opinion.
