When I look at Battle of Trafalgar guides, they often use one aspect: unite the fleets. However, I never unite the fleets, so I'll give you my method for Trafalgar. Force DispositionsSince the plan involves two separate fleets, they are positioned like this: The plan of attack.Red: Nelson's squadron, attack Villeneuve then aid Collingwood. Blue: Collingwood's squadron, attack Cisneros, Gravina, then Cosmao. Green: Villeneuve's squadron White: Cisneros' squadron Black: Gravina's squadron Reserve is uncolored. The plan will be split to two squadrons, Nelson and Collingwood respectively. Nelson's squadronUse Nelson to attack Villeneuve. Try that the damage be at least 9 points. Second turn, a French battleship will engage. Flank and kill. A French battleship was between Nelson and the British one.Third turn there will be a morale rise. Surround and kill Villeneuve. Admiral's log, 21 October 1805. All hope is lost. After Villeneuve is dead, destroy his squadron. Flank and kill. After that the remains of your squadron aids Collingwood. Collingwood's squadron.Use Collingwood and the battleship in front of him to engage the Spanish battleship next to Cisneros. Second turn destroy the battleship, flank the frigate, destroy the frigate. What Nelson would give to be here!Third turn flank Cisneros, kill him and the privateer. We have the Santisima Trinidad at last! Then engage Gravina, flank and kill him. All genius and decision in combat? Really?Mop up from here. Engagement against CosmaoPretty straightforward. Surround and kill. Well, he failes to recover those ships.Kill what's left, then Victory!

This is how I do it, only with one difference: I send Nelson's group's frigates to Collingwoood, and some of the Battleships from the tail end of Collingwood's squadron to Nelson

Jean-Luc Picard, should I use generals in future guides? I have Golitsyn 110 health/8 regen and upgraded Sophia (5 star artillery) 98 health/7 regen. I'm afraid they're too powerful.

Not for missions this early. Use them only for later missions (think 5 missions before your current, your current, and anything you get to in the future. I like to use some of my generals on the wrong units and others not at all when making earlier mission guides to make it more realistic

I roughly grouped both fleets , while trying to keep fastest units on my flanks. Staying of enemy move atk range when possible letting them come to me piece meal, using both flanking and encirclement. Had x4 low leval land generals but still managed to finish for 5stars.

They were an infantry general 2\3 stars with formation. Marmont artilary. Sophia artilary. Fatimah trade.
Now marmont / Sophia / fatimah / Isabella / Maria and Kate.
The first two I got b4 looking about on forums, will regroup marmont at some time for an experience boost.
