economic master general and non-economic master general with napoleonic code i should be able to gain more resources in fast conquest, equipping my combat generals when stationed right after capturing cities.

i agree ney, sulkowski, and murat are good. murat had helped me obtaining two last princesses. he deserves the title of fortcracker. i prefer ney for accompanying my sophia. that's all. they are two almost similar fortcrackers. about jackson, i might be the only one who likes logistics. we could gain as much as food on the battlefield but jackson could make my food production greater so i could maximize the number of troops i could create. i use this game to learn and practice strategy especially in conquest, not just collecting generals and princesses. jackson might help me to realize the strategy involving a large number of troops. economic master will increase income. when economic master is combined with napoleonic code, they together increase income more. yes, defense art will be helpful for jackson to stay in the city esp. capital where income is greatest 1) Ney is for forts and cities, the others are also good against humans 2)Defense Art requires you to s/l in AI turns. Better to have Leadership and Mass Fire, like Washington, which work anyway and allow him to fight back even if your Cav general needs the Snare Drum

Generally, I like to have all combat generals, maybe 1 econ in small country conquests, and give the code to whoever is in the highest-income spot

yeah, at least i have more income boosters (fatimah and jackson) because i have only 2 napoleonic codes. i will try to gain resources as much as possible in fast conquest. washington is better than jackson but it is like that i cannot dump any highly focused general like jackson with his focused skills in economy.

sorry but jackson is useless, food shortages are rare so it isn't a huge problem so logistics does nothing, Also, having a econ general just to boost resources to make a bigger army is not as great as having a strong combat general. Fatimah will give you more coins and hammers but she won't fight the enemy. A strong general would be stronger than the extra troops you spawn.

Washington is the only econ general that is worth getting i think because he is fairly good at combat as well (mass fire and leadership)

i agree with you when it comes to fighting. i just sometimes come with an idea, maybe the crazy one. before i got lan and victoria, i ever employ lannes (best 8 emblem general i think), poniatowski (has skills usable for most units), etc. now, i'm kinda obsessed with highly focused general. when i found moreau, i felt like, wow...he is so very arty. so yeah, i found jackson for economic affair. i will stick in my set of generals: 6 males and 6 females. the last slot will always be lasalle because he is 5 cav+5 move so no need to train him. someday i might change one or two generals

even i placed my generals in order in my generals slots: the six slots upper are filled with princesses, the lower are for generals. the upper order is: sophia, isabela, fatimah, victoria, kate, lan the lower order is: ney, moreau, jackson, suvorov, sidney, lasalle see the one of my realized idea, maybe kinda crazy.

Crazy ideas, and Jackson isn't focused. The only focused Econ general is Fatimah. And 1 Napoleonic Code is plenty

yeah, i come up with an idea that i want to gain resources as much as possible during fast conquest. i will equip my combat generals with napoleonic code once he/she stationed in a city. it might be possible there are 3 or more generals with no economic master stationed in cities while i just have 2 napoleonic code. here will try to maximize the potential of getting huge amount of resources quickly. another one crazy idea. conquest mode is very fun.
