Axis Al Amein has only defense, Keep a solid line of defense running through the important cities and put all reserves in there.
Allies Al Amein (I'll have to see this)
Iwo Jima, land troops slightly East of jisaburo, then gather all forces to to slowly push for the center (the level 3 airport, after taking it send your general with a tank south west while everyone else mops up north.

Australia
Put everyone to defense in the start, defend till 11-12 turns, then attack on the British front and then keep moving forward from to take the southern cities, meanwhile make some men in your starting city and send them to the city just south that's beside a oil field, then move to take Sydney Full fledged attack at Adelaide and Melbourne are required so divert anything you have that's sitting around, ignore Canberra, guard the ports preferably with infantries and if income permits then with submarines. Also auchinleck will come from his city if you don't take it (don't take it actually) so if he comes, make infantries at Adelaide top priority. Grace will attack Melbourne regularly so some big cannons there if income permits can be a life saver.

Your GoG Europe stats are fine (and Vatutin is awesome), save some to upgrade financial centre.
In Pacific general is good too but might want to Save for the financial centre to give extra money.

Napoleon Bonaparte thanks for the help dude, already beat Iwo Jima. Now, tips for typhoon of steel? xD land where MacArthur is, get that city he failed to take, slowly push for ishikawa, then divide forces. Group A goes south to take Naha and shuri (take the oil fields first there and then the city and airport) Group B goes north to Nago and then further north.

I still haven't completed it myself. Alright, but tips for operation downfall? It looks unbelievably hard and brutal. well; Try to land as many units as you can at Osaka, kill whatever You can with u your tanks and don't use your infantries or armored cars while in Osaka, once you take the factory in Osaka morale improves and then you're general becomes pretty much invincible, so then with both your heavy tanks killing the forces near Tokyo advance toward it, use blitz tactics to destroy large groups, Tokyo will be a hard fight but once you do get it spam tanks and kill around it, then divide forces Army group A; goes to Akita, Sendai and Hokkaido (the island North) Army group B, goes to Hiroshima and Kagoshima (if they still aren't taken by allies) and from Kagoshima goes to Korea. You won't get a 4*/3* finish but will end just in time.
