3 reasons I did this: 1) d'Avout was awesome: Auerstaedt, Eckmuhl, Hamburg. 'nuff said 2) I was too Comfortable as Picard I was as comfortable with my nom de plume as with my actual name. That warrants a change 3) Spiting Jean LannesBecause Lannes was 2nd best, and he needs a reminder of it

Np we still know who you are without even looking at your profile because of the [game modification moderator] tittle.
Different styles,different times.

It's just that I don't want to accidentally introduce myself to a girl as Jean-Luc Picard What if she was a trekkie all along? You shouldn't let a treasure like that slip through the fingers. Jokes aside, yeah... that would be awkward. You would laugh when you look back at it though when you get older, trust me. We all have our share of dumb sayings in that age range.

See, I can get away w/ my name, because my real name actually is Joseph (or Joźef, if you like the Polish version) and I am part Polish so I could just explain away the Poniatowski part

Jospeh Joffre, really?!? I would understand if you wanted to be someone else than Picard and you already had a good one, Davout. This newest name change is not Deso-approved

Till date the only ww1 general name we've got is Conrad von Hotzendorf (BTW does Anyone know where is he?) and the second is Joffre? If my PC worked I would've put a picture of my favorite ww1 general. Aleksei Brusilov!
