My God guys, what with all the hate on Jean-Luc Picard's new name? He can choose whatever name he wants, how would you like it if you changed your name on here and everyone here was like "Ugh, such a bad name". Of course, you can have an opinion on it, but I think it would be nicer to him if you didn't criticize his new name, at least not on the first day he has it.

Of course, you can have an opinion on it, but I think it would be nicer to him if you didn't criticize his new name, at least not on the first day he has it. I think it's mainly because he already has two very recognizable names, and he had a very specific reason for switching in the first place, then suddenly he's back in his old shoes. Guess he prefers being Picard all along? But now, I suppose it's harder to let this one pass this time without scrutiny because it seems so illogical to adopt Joseph Joffre or because he appears to go back on his word again. I'm not saying that's the particular reason everyone is having.

This one was honestly a test. Regardless of the result, this name was temporary, as can be seen from my profile location still being a Star Trek reference. (Most of) you fail the test

I made the change to Dayan, an Israeli General and Statesman. I'll make a pres on him later today Good idea. I think most people aren't aware of any Israeli leader except for Sharon because he has been around since forever. Before I was born, pretty much. *checks* been in an office since 1981 until just recently 2006!

I made the change to Dayan, an Israeli General and Statesman. I'll make a pres on him later today being a Pakistani I know nothing about Israel. Weird fact, on the Pakistani passport it is written on every page that "this passport is valid for all countries except Israel" Even North Korea?

It's almost like a household name to me because it came up way more often than any other Israeli I knew of.

Well it doesn't necessarily mean that NK would let you in, simply that the Pakistani govt allows you to depart from Pakistan on the way to NK.

Just saying, maybe you shouldn't bring up the fact that Pakistan doesn't recognize Israel, as, while it doesn't cause friction between you and Jean-Luc Picard, it might with any other Israeli who comes on here, and could potentially start a flame war between people who are pro-palestine or people who are pro-Israel. Of course, I'm not saying you really did anything wrong necessarily, and i have no real authority to be saying this, but I'm just saying that it might be best to avoid bringing up the fact that Pakistan doesn't recognize Israel
