Hi, these are both survivability skills. they can trigger and reduce the enemies damage. First some differences: *Defense Tactics is a hybrid skill, blitzkrieg/raider is tank/inf only. *Defense Tactics can trigger when the enemy is attacking, blitzkrieg/raider can't do that. *With defense tactics you always keep a minimum damage of 1. Save and loadFor s/l players blitzkrieg is better. Since blitzkrieg reduce 100% damage while defense reduces 20,40,60,80%. Damage reduction tableBlitzkrieg obviously reduces more damage per attack. Conclusion*The enemy needs to attack you two times in order to make defense equally strong as blitzkrieg. *If your s/l player definitely go for blitzkrieg. *Defense tactics is a hybrid skill, blitzkrieg is tank only

You have to take into account that no matter what, defense tactics has only a 10% chance of occurring. And even then, it won't completely protect you.

Blitzkrieg isn't the only skill that prevents from attacking. Raider is the infantry version. And artillery have it built-in.

Defence tactics can be useful when you try to defeat a difficult mission with poor tech/generals with restarting technique.

Defence tactics can be useful when you try to defeat a difficult mission with poor tech/generals with restarting technique. But restarting technique sure as heck isn't fun

Guess: If you s/l, you can put a general with max DT and half-health skill into crowds of enemies to weaken or even kill all of them.

Guess: If you s/l, you can put a general with max DT and half-health skill into crowds of enemies to weaken or even kill all of them. You would have to be super lucky, because of its low trigger ratio. Blitzkrieg works for 100 % of damage up to 16 % of the time. Defense tactic works for up to 80 % of damage for 10 % of the time. Mathematically Blitzkrieg is way better.
