I have always wondered, if hitler had listened to his generals strategies or held control of his ego, would germany had won ww2?

Well Germany should have stayed stable enough if Hitler decided not to fight the USSR or Even the US **Ignore Japan and Pearl Harbour**

and u guys can also post a comment about how u think germany could have done better tactics, my tactic, (i have a feeling that someone else will think of this one,) is that maybe hitler should have first sent his troops south mainly to capture the oil fields which would leave the soviets with a lot less fuel, then surround stalingrad, and go north while surrounding and besieging, BUT NOT INVADING the city, capture moscow, and then head north to leningrad, with all that captured and japan on the other side, the soviet union would either have very crappy military power or would surrender. And aftyer all that, they could then move their troops to north africa and move forward slowly, or basically use rommels outflanking technique but then retreat a little to make sure the supply convoys were fresh and were doing okay, then once africa was done the germans could build a bigger navy and air force and launch some v2 rockets a britian then attack it from norway, then head south towards london, and then send troops over the channel, to squish london, then take ireland, and invade canada and bleed out into the us and mexico, all the while getting support from japan and italy, take los alamos, and proceed in launching nukes on washington after surrounding it, once the us surrenders, germany wins.

They would never have won. They just didn't have the economic power of the Allies.
Their best success could theoretically be conquering Soviet Union, but after that, their military would be too exhausted to defeat US. Also the need to dispatch many troops to fight partizans in conquered countries would severely weaken their army. After that, only stalemate would be possible ?thanks? to nuclear bombs.

The thing is that Germany would probably force civilians of the Soviet Union to join their army. Also the fact that the U.S. & Britain would be fighting this humongous nation on their own, would defeat them. With the Soviets conquered, Germany would tax them making Germany a rich nation.

The German generals warned Hitler not to invade the Soviet Union. In fact, one of Hitler's best generals: Manstein, was taken out of combat due to his arguing with Hitler's plans. Had Hitler listened to his generals, Germany would not have invaded the Soviet Union, which was their biggest failure. They would've taken over Britain, and have enough money to take over America.

Russia did ofcourse by far the most harm to the germans. I think if german troops werent stated in the east, but in the west. The germans would overrun the brittish. Since the german army would control all of europe and can prepare a defence against the us in europe. I think germany would have beaten the allied forces landing in normandie. Afterwards i think the germans didnt really want to invade north america and australia. So they sign a threaty
Japan would still loss against china and the us i think.
I think germany would never won a two-side war, but on a one-side war, yes they could have won.
I dont think he threaty would be that scary as some think.
The germans would take control of rhineland and poland (and austria and chezoslovakia)
I think the rest wouldnt be that much different, perhaps benelux to germany.
But the germans were too kind to the danish in ww2 and always said that they would make them free again after the war so i think denmark would be the same

No, they won't. I think, the only way Germany could win is by befriending USSR (By removing anti-communism) and arabs. If USSR didn't accept alliance, Germany should at least prevent American countries from joining the war.
Seriously, no USSR + Americas

There are many factors in play and Hitler's ego is only one of them. If Hitler held his ego, then 3rd Reich will face problem of their idealism, the cold weather of Russia, and USA. If they managed to take down USSR and establish a safe communication line with Japan then they have a big chance. Also Britain is not much if ze germans are serious about it.
