What was the strongest kingdom or territory that was a component of the confederation of the Rhine? I have heard Westphalia had contributed the most troops but was it the strongest?

Bavaria had the largest population, I think. Westphalia only contributed much because it was under Jerome Bonaparte. Bavaria also had Wrede and Deroy, both were pretty badass

Yup. Only twice did the battle start elsewhere, 1812 (Prussia/Saxony) and 1815 (Belgium)
