I skipped Ankara, Istanbul and Saudi and it worked just as well. Spamming field artys after you take Sofia can be quite effective. I went straight for Greece and simply spawned 4 or 5 motorised infantry to take Iran and then spammed them to take Bangkok not Chongking and worked my way up into China and Japan via Manila and Taipei

good point, benefit of conquering neutrals is better economy, suitable for long game. for fast one, your route definitely better imho.

cries... saltin only plays wc3, do visit wc4  1943 wc3 egypt is very similar to 1939 wc4 egypt strategy. For wc4 1943 egypt the strategy is where units take kiev first before attacking the balkans. Handy for world records as well |

cries... saltin only plays wc3, do visit wc4 1943 wc3 egypt is very similar to 1939 wc4 egypt strategy. For wc4 1943 egypt the strategy is where units take kiev first before attacking the balkans. Handy for world records as well Except is not so easy to take Kyiv(for inexperienced players) in WC3 as it is in WC4. |

Worked for me, the main problem was that while Germany was on it's last leg, I kinda forgot about the Japanese and only noticed when they took New Delhi and found a entire army of Paratroopers in Iran... Probably should've sent them out a division much earlier to defend/liberate Chinese cities before the Japanese got a large foothold in China but hey, thanks for the guide!

I have a screenshot of 1950 or 60 where I was invading China and the Chinese repelled over 3 waves of my PMI as my super tanks were still halfway to the front. On the fourth attempt, they were finally out of money so I managed to take a air base and finally won. Painful non the less and now I either have to choose to play WTO and have to deal with America/Canada or NATO and have to deal with the Chinese.

I actually found that playing as a NATO country in 1960 is easily winable. As long as you play as a country in the middle east and hold off the Indians, the rest of NATO will deal with the Soviet push and you can get the undefended cities for free. Then just spam the living hell out of PMI and start retaking Asia and boom, enjoy the 20k energy and 18k technology.
