Hi, i think montgommery is bad, why?
First his price, 3360, its insanely high!
Knowing that vatutin, rommel, patton and guderian are both cheaper and better, why would i buy him?
4 star tanks
He misses the final 8 damage for tanks. And for his price you cant talk that right
He has the wrong skills, he lacks both explosives and plain fighting, the 2 best skills in game. The third best, tide, he only has lvl1 which wont provide a lot. Also no blitzkrieg. Desert is situational. Supply is the only good skill he has, same with ace forces but only lvl2.
But for tank-air?
Patton has some air stars, and patton has a thing monty has not: good skills.
I want an african dude!
Why not rommel. Cheaper and better. He has lvl4 tide of iron which makes him better.
So to conclude i think montgommery is too expensive for his crappy skills, also his stars are mediocre. There are way better alternatives, therefore i wouldnt reccomend buying him

He's pretty tough with maxed rank and supply, but normally output --> endurance. And he can barely stand a nuke so that's that.

Montgomery was not well-represented in the game. In real life, he was one of the first, but not the last, to win a significant battle against the Germans. Montgomery managed to push all the Germans out of Africa. And EasyTech gave him a bad name...

But at least in the gameplay of 1943 itself, Montgomery was quite a monster in Africa and a sensible Axis player wouldn't waste one of his own generals on Africa anyway, so a player has to put up with him, normally. |

Also, Italian should be added. The only gen that was good both ingame and real life is Badoglio. Just look at their track record IRL. Seriously? Balbo shot down by his own troops? Seriously? |
