I have everything except Cossacks and Mare Nostrum. I wonder if I can host, save, then you can host off the save, meaning we can use them all. Or maybe someone else will show up. ANYONE can save a multiplayer game in EU4 of which they participate in as they leave. How do people get back into the save? I'm assuming the host rehost and upload the save then the play continue from there, or am I wrong? If there's a sale in the winter, I probably will buy EU4 (or Vicky 2... or EU3:Chronicles - the complete complete version)

I prefer the Victorian Era personally, but if you prefer stuff like Napoleon, Frederick the Great, etc. etc, go for EU4 or EU3

Just wondering what you thought of it. The main benefit of EU3 to me is the completeness of the DLCs. No need to cringe for the next upcoming new release to lose something from the game then I will have to go and buy the new DLC to ransom that feature back. I already explained earlier in a different thread about the Paradox's model of siphoning your money off you. I did played EU4 on someone else's laptop for almost a whole month. Def an eye-opener. I don't mind Paradox making money off DLCs, but not in that particular way of quasi-ransomware. Anyway, if someone here DO have EU3, raise your hand. I would like to know if I can get a multi-player match or not. If not, I might have to grit my teeth and buy EU4/Vi2 only on 75% sales.

Dudes, set up something simple like 3 or 4 people playing EU4 bigboys (ie France, Austria, Muscovy, or even Ottomans, whatever). I wanna to hear the stories, updates and screenshots.

The new EU IV expansion has a picture of me! Well now Prussia gets even more discipline! It looks a like a valuable expansion from the dev diaries, which means I might have to pay full price on this one My poor wallet...

I'm going to start my first game of EU4 soon. I've watched Quill18's tutorials and are now confident in my ability to overestimate my ability. I'm either going to play as England, Brandenburg, Muskovy or Sweden.

I initially thought I would be able to do well at the game after watching the tutorials (confident in my ability) but I soon realised I probably won't do as well as I hope (so I originally overestimated my ability). It was a bit of joke.
