This thread will be about the evolution of Easytech games. In my opnion, they are:
Musket & Artillery Period
Games: Musket & Artillery EW1, Musket & Artillery American Revolution
First Easytech period, still dice-using and quite rudimentary units (troops+artillery). Notice artillery here isn't a unit, but a feature (like airstrike now)
No navy, just land troops on sea.
WWII Risk Period
Games: WC 1945, EW2
Kinda like Musket & Artillery but in WWII. Tanks and airstrike added. Artillery becomes a unit. Also start of city upgrading feature
The Period where Easytech made different units and generals
Games: WC2, EW3
Introduction of more unit templates and basic general system. Unit per country too. Added airport and industry.
Beginning of navy. Units like battleship and cruiser.
GoG Period
Games: GoG Classic, GoG Pacific
Introduction of today's general stars, diverse facilities exist but not upgradable.
Hex Period
Games: WC3, EW4
General skills added, Academy added, the hex becomes more obvious.
PvP Period
Games: GoG 2 ACE
