Is there a lot of posts in the moderator board? Dont know anymore, but when I was there, it would be on and off. Sometimes it would be dead silent, sometimes it would be bustling. There is quite a bit of posts on the moderator board though. Picard starts at least 2 threads there everyday lol

You sure don't seem insecure. I am about my moderation, sometimes. It always feels either too strict or too loose A large reason why i am somewhat relieved to no longer be a moderator. I just didn't really feel like I was ever doing a good enough job. TBH, unless you guys (as in, you the moderators) actually really wanted me to be a moderator, id turn down the opportunity more than likely.

Most excellent question! There is no universal answer to this as each one of us may have a slightly different standard but I will take a stab at answering this. To me there are many different kind of contributors and all of them are just as valuable. To me a member can achieve excellence by doing what he enjoys the most and taking it a step further than he (or she) thought he could. -So some members have excellent aptitude at making clear and concise gaming guides -Others may enjoy contributing by making youtube videos -Some just love to help "newbies" and help walk them through some of the confusing parts of the games. -A few members may display aptitude at graphics and gfx and contribute with their artistic talents -Some members manage to make excellent informative historical presentations and lectures -Some members have a zen like ability and patience to gather huge amount of raw game data. -That data sometimes go to some math and statistics wizards of our community that will break down that knowlege into formula. -yet again some members constantly entertain the rest of us with witty remarks and anectodes -Some members have helped bridge the communities gap between foreign langage sites and helped trully make our forum an international community with roots from across the globe. -Many members are just plain pleasant and bring joy to others with just normal interactions. -Many members automatically become contributors based on the fact they have been around for so long as they are now "part of the furniture". A strong compliment as long time members bring a certain familiarity and joy to the rest of us. -Countless of other examples. Point being is a contributor isn't just about post count it is more about finding what you are good at and helping in your own way to have a positive impact on the community that is very willing to accept you for who you are as a gamer. And some are like me, makes whole alot of information in all ways, then throws hell a lot of game file data in forum and then starts a huge wave of something that made us to make some changes around here I wouldnt exactly say you made changes around here singlehandedly. All things progress, and all the membership, not just you, are credited with changing the forum to make it different and better.

You sure don't seem insecure. I am about my moderation, sometimes. It always feels either too strict or too loose I don't blame you for feeling that way. My experiences as a moderator (not this forum) had been fairly stressful because I wanted to use my powers responsibly and to be of assistance to the operation of the forum. I applaud such thinking on your part. It's actually probably the best approach to ensure quality of your work as a moderator. Just be careful not to develop some ulcers in the meantime.

Too late for that. The taking-down-mods mess caused some ulcers

I would say I started some Waves, which caused membership to change some things.
