For the 1960 conquest in my opinion, it is super inaccurate.
Soviet Union - Technically owned everything from Khabarovsk to Berlin. Who owns Berlin? NATO. Who owns Poland? Themselves. What happened to the Soviet troops in Vietnam?
USA - Technically Japan hasn't been involved in any fighting since WWII, the only fighting might've been due to the U.S. bases there. The US also should've owned half of Germany. It would've been nice if the USA had troops stationed around the globe.
Random Countries involved- Japan? Australia? Northern European countries? Portugal? Spain? Italy? Pretty much any country in Europe besides the UK, France, and the USA? Technically shouldn't North & South Korea be completely possessed by the US and Soviet Union?

Its easy tech. Do you really expect a game made by them to be accurate?

At that point PRC-US relations were thawing, so I'm not sure about that The People's Republic of China is still somewhat allied to Russia. The communists are pretty much all-together.

They would easily re-ally if the US invaded one of the coasts though.

They would easily re-ally if the US invaded one of the coasts though. But as the PRC wasn't allied to the Soviets, America wouldn't invade the former
