K,it looks like things have calmed down a bit? In general double and triple posting should be avoided unless it is a special thread like a presentation. Or else it is considered poor form and annoying for many users...so again not a huge deal or anything but it shouldnt be done very often as it could be interpreted as spam. Here is a generic Wiki netiquette article that might explain some of the background.

"You will all be cleaning the shoes of the Germans!"-Italian fascist and commander Italo Balbo upon hearing of Italy's allegiance with Germany in the Second World War. Fun fact, Italo Balbo was the only Italian fascist who wished for an alliance with Great Britain as it was much more beneficial to Italian interests and he believed that the Germans were tyrannical and a threat to world order. Turns out, he was completely right.

Shame that he died early (1940, I think?) You are correct, died in a plane crash as a result of friendly fire (Was flying a plane when Italian AA guns shot him down thinking it was a British plane). Not like it would have mattered much though in my opinion. He was not that liked in Rome, and had very different opinions than his other fascist colleagues. He may have been a supporter of the Allies as they marched up through Italy, but at the same his nationalism may have made him side with the Germans (Again, maybe, maybe not.). I would say he'd side with the Allies more than likely, but he was a fascist, not a democrat. This would put him in an almost limbo state in post-war Italy as fascism would be heavily suppressed. But he wasn't anti-semetic or racist or anything I dont believe, even being an ardent opponent of the Jewish Laws made by Italy in the 30's which heavily discriminated against Jews. He wanted what was best for Italy, not expansionist interests, unlike Mussolini.

Turns out you and some other members thinks about wars in black and white, but I can say that it newer is such, for example, who stole most jewelry and worthy things during ww2? No those weren't Germans, those were Americans, of course some stolen funds were used to make ano(uno in other languages), but it was ≈15% from all they stole, note they didn't only stole things that were nationalized, but they even added huge lists one their own...

You also need to remember on D-Day, many Germans surrendered, but the Americans shot them.

@coolguy14 this statement is so wrong Better than old age or suicide. It is honorable to die from someone else's sword rather than your own. Japanese code of honor states that men can't dishonor them self by surrender or retreat (if not ordered to), and if they does, they must take their honor in making seppuku

Japanese code of honor states that men can't dishonor them self by surrender or retreat (if not ordered to), and if they does, they must take their honor in making seppuku I never said that was right if you're Japanese. It's my own philosophy, personally I'd rather have someone else's sword dirtied than my own.
