st thing Guys I played EW 4 for a looooong time but i never found out the best way to defeat them or even if they are that useful because they are expensive and the coastal forts just destroy them and that is just a waste but the big thing is that they are limited on water. 2nd I dont know when you step lets say a desert 5% inf -5% cav art so is it worse defence or better on inf or I deal bigger damage 3rd Are rivers just hinderances because they make you slower but when I plat conquest as the UK in America 1775 there are some ships stuck in lakes and there are rivers so is there a hidden way to transport ships via rivers

And what about a navy should I buy one oe are they just a waste of money And still if it shows -5 inf is it that I have better defence or worse or I have a weaker attack as infantry I dont get the firests and hills and deserts

The -x% is a deduction in the attack (if a cav unit attacks a unit on a hex with -x% cav, it will deal less damage

What is the best way to defeat a navy ship I played 1775 UK three ships were stuck in lakes but two ships were in the lakes but they are no match against the russian and the other one was with a general in the antlantic great my plan is to defeat the United States and support jessen and portugal then crush the Dutch Poles And French I suck on naval battles so the Russians are a hard nutand Navy waste of supplies ? BTW If an unit is low on health should I just let it die

BTW If an unit is low on health should I just let it die TO defeat enemy ships, spam coastal forts if they're near your land, and privateers if they're far. Dying units that aren't generals should be used in suicide charges routinely, both sea and land. And save ships for near the end on non-rushing conquest
